The pavement properties of asphalt mixture are affected by environmental temperature obviously,diseases of rutting and cracking caused by environmental temperature seriously affect service performance and using life of asphalt pavement.Temperature sensitivity of asphalt mixture was reduced by the microcapsule phase change thermostat agent for highway with its latent heat characteristics of phase change which were developed by studying group during prophase research.However,the leakage and volatilization of microcapsule phase change thermostat agent caused by high-temperature mixing of asphalt mixture significantly reduced the thermostat effect.Thus,epoxy resin was used to seal microcapsule phase change thermostat agent,and original test equipment developed by studying group boosted production efficiency and quality of finished products of epoxy resin composite thermostat agent,effectively improved the loss of thermostat agent.Based on this,the paper carries out experimental researches on the actual thermostat effect and the specific heat capacity of asphalt mixture mixed with the thermostat in order to lay a foundation for further research on pavement temperature field and application on engineering.Based on the original test preparation methods of epoxy resin composite thermostat agent,the research made asphalt mixture specimens of different composite thermostat agent dosages.Temperature variation conditions of asphalt mixture mixed with different composite thermostat agent dosages were observed and recorded with the cooling experiment that simulated the actual cooling process of asphalt mixture.And the actual thermostat effect of epoxy resin composite thermostat agent was analyzed using the maximum temperature difference between asphalt mixture mixed with composite thermostat agent and pure asphalt mixture,together with latent heat accumulation temperature value and latent heat thermostat index of composite thermostat agent.It was discovered that temperature variation conditions behaved differently between pure asphalt mixture and asphalt mixture mixed with composite thermostat agent,the more composite thermostat agent mixed in mixture,the less cooling velocity mixture had,the larger temperature difference compared with pure mixture,the bigger latent heat accumulation temperature value and latent heat thermostat index of composite thermostat agent.And the thermostat capability strengthened with better thermostat effect.Based on previous small-volume testing methods of specific heat capacity,the specific heat capacity of asphalt mixture mixed with different dosages of composite thermostat agent was tested from the angle of controlling the heat loss of exchange system and the effect of preserving heat.The results showed that within the temperature range of phase change,the specific heat capacity of asphalt mixture mixed with composite thermostat agent reached a peak value,which related to the dosages of composite thermostat agent.Through statistical regression analysis,the research recommended the relational expression between the specific heat capacity of asphalt mixture mixed with composite thermostat agent and temperature.
