Civil aircraft airworthiness standards make a clear regulation that the applicant must carry on the safety assessment of aircraft systems,and the safety assessment process should be started from Functional Hazard Assessment.Functional Hazard Assessment aims to identify the functional failure condition and the combination of functional failure conditions which may occur in the process of aircraft running state,and determine their risk level according to their failure effects.Usually,Traditional Functional Hazard Assessment relies on safety analysts,based on past experience,analyzing the plane function one by one,which makes the results of the analysis too subjective,and once in the face of highly complex systems,it can contribute to many shortcomings,such as too much time and money cost,and difficulties to identify multiple failures.This paper first introduces the analysis process of the traditional method of Functional Hazard Assessment and points out its disadvantages and shortcomings.Then,the current status of FHA methods is expounded,in which one language tool and two FHA methods based on the model are specially described in detail and reviewed from the analysis principle,the analysis process to insufficient aspects.Meanwhile,the historical data proves that human factors play an important role in FHA,which leads to the concept of human in the loop.On this basis,this paper proposes a FHA method considering human in the loop,and presents a concrete analytical modeling principle and an algorithm design idea.This method based on the original FHA method,combines the aircraft failure scenario with the aircraft functional dependencies and artificial control process model,then uses Statecharts to construct the target model with the computer code to calculate results,which effectively makes up for the defect of traditional methods and improves the efficiency of the FHA.Finally,the paper selects the aircraft take-off scenario as a case,on which the FHA method with consideration of human in the loop is used to make an analysis,so as to obtain the corresponding results.Compared with the results from traditional methods,our method is verified much more reliable and applicable.
