The development of Smart Grid,promote the intelligence of the electric equipment switch.The low voltage distribution network is the last part of power system,and its intelligent degree is closely related to the quality and reliability of power supply.However,due to numerous electrical equipments and small single capacity,the low voltage distribution network has been paid no due attention for a long time.So the money invested in the construction of low voltage distribution network is unenough,and the equipment and technology is backward.Accordingly,the low voltage distribution network turns into the weak link of the power grid.In order to diagnose failures timely,isolate failures rapidly and shorten repair time,this paper focused on the application of intelligent monitoring system for the low voltage power distribution switch based on Measurement Automation System.According to the infrastructure and existing applications of Measurement Automation System,this paper firstly analyzed and studied the key technology of intelligent monitoring system for the low voltage power distribution switch based on Measurement Automation System.The design principles and performance requirements of Transformer Terminal Unit,low voltage power distribution switch and Metering Automation System were researched,and the overall design scheme of intelligent monitoring system was completed after scheme comparison and feasibility study.Secondly,this paper detailedly explained the hardware design and software design of intelligent monitoring system.In the terms of hardware,the main station structure and key technology of Measurement Automation System were analyzed and studied,and the control module,acquisition module and communication module of low voltage power distribution switch were designed.In the terms of software,the up communication program and downlink communication program of intelligent monitoring system were designed based on Communication Protocol.Finally,after laboratory testing and field testing for the intelligent monitoring system,the low voltage power distribution switch was moitored in real time through Measurement Automation System and operational personnel mobile phone text messages.After reliable operation of the system,it can be widely applied,which spend ultra low cost research and design.This application could realize the intelligent monitoring of thousands of low voltage power distribution switch.So such application has significant social benefits and values of research and popularization.
