With the development of society and the improvement of our living standards,the ratio of building energy consumption to the total energy consumption of the whole society is increasing year by year.As the energy and environmental problems become more and more serious,building energy saving has become the top priority of building a resourcesaving society.Especially the waste of land,energy and materials during we construct and use residential building,its energy consumption accounts for more than 80 percent of total energy consumption.We must learn from the lessons of the rich countries in energy and environmental crisis,and prevent them from becoming more urgent.So we have no time to delay the energy efficiency of residential buildings.Chengdu is humid and sultry in summer and cold in winter.Because of the bad weather conditions in the region,the design of an energy-efficient building envelope that first needs to address the heat preservation in summer and then the thermal insulation in winter.It makes the design of the building’s orientation,the construction coefficient,the window-wall ratio and the surrounding structure becomes very important.So We need to study the effects of energy consumption on residential buildings in the typical cities of summer and cold winter.This paper compared the Energy analysis software in terms of application scope,basic characteristics,load computing capacity and equipment compatibility,at last we choose DeST to analysis our building.And then introduce the model of DeST,the values of meteorological data and the verification of dynamic simulation results.It laid the foundation for the research of the paperThen the paper introduced the climate characteristics of Chengdu.And the thermal process characteristics of the building in the area were analyzed.It is a non-steady heat transfer process,which is the opposite of heat transfer in the day and night of summer,and heat transfer to the outside in the winter.It indicated the direction of the parameters of the input and the energy saving measures.We chose a residential building in Chengdu to do the heat energy efficiency calculation.Then check the design criteria of the residential buildings in Sichuan province to review the requirements of the containment structure.At last we do the energy consumption simulation calculation of the model,to check whether the building is meet the requirements of the design standards for energy saving of residential buildings in Sichuan province.At last we use DeST and investigation to study how its location,building shape,window wall ratio,building orientation,exterior wall material,personnel behavior and other parameters influence to the building load and the energy consumption.The paper thus provides reference of passive energy efficiency for the construction of residential buildings in the city of chengdu,one of the representative cities in the hot summer and cold winter areas.
