Research On The Evaluation And Design Methods Of Product Color Besed On Consumer Perception

Color plays an important role in modern product design.That how to import the consumer perception information on color into product color design,is the heart of the current product color design and evaluation research.This paper based on the theory of Kansei Engineering,took individual electric vehicles color design and evaluation as practical cases,conducted systematically research about product color design and evaluation method based on the consumer perception.For the importance of product design and evaluation of color in the product development process,on the basis of analysis of consumer perception about the impact on product color imagery,to construct the product color design and evaluation system based on perceptual engineering architecture.The perceptual technology introduced into the evaluation of product color design,using questionnaires to collect user color semantic words and get the user image for product color preferences.this paper combined with the market survey of electric vehicles color to complete electric color sample design;with personal electric vehicles as example,conduct color design and evaluation based on consumer perception,and then set up electric vehicle based on Web color design and evaluation of interactive platform.In this article,theory is combined with practice by using Web as a platform and publishing products virtual model and product color design online,and product's visual color image is built on the computer to meet user visual experience more directly.Users can design and evaluate the color scheme online through browsers.Using the way that users participate in the process of design and evaluation,user emotional requirements will be collected accurately.Through data analysis of user experience,it could assist designers to select color and color image,and to rate color scheme,and eventually develop the produce color scheme.
