The Impacts On Urban Spatial Structure By Inter-city Rail Transit

With the rapid progress of urbanization,China is in the rapid transformation of urban spatial structure,in which the existing urban development model and infrastructure have been unable to meet the needs of urban development.Intercity rail transit,as an important means of transport in China,is playing a vital role today when China has been promoting the development of urban agglomeration model positively.The change and development of intercity rail transit have promoted the change of urban spatial structure.The study on the impacts of intercity rail transit on urban spatial structure has a positive influence on further urban planning in China.This thesis analyzes theory and correlation of intercity rail transit and urban spatial structure,finds out their definition and concept,and defines them for a second time based on the study perspective and aim.Through analysis of relationship between them,it makes out how intercity rail transit influences urban spatial and the theoretical analysis framework.It also analyzes the influencing factors and measures of intercity rail transit for urban accessibility and urban spatial interaction.Besides,this thesis uses the geometric mean time distance between cities to calculate the city accessibility and thus measures the influences of intercity rail transit on urban ecology;and it uses gravity model to quantify interaction force between cities and thus measures the influences of intercity rail transit on mutual effect between cities and then revises the model.It selects Changhun high-speed rail as the research object to calculate accessibility and uses ArcGIS software to achieve the visibility of the visual expression.The gravity model is used to calculate the interaction force of urban space,in the process of which,this thesis revises the concept of urban quality,abandons the existing method of using the single economic index to reflect the urban quality,and combines the existing urban competitiveness evaluation system to establish the urban quality evaluation system.Finally,according to the actual situation of the study object,the influence of intercity rail transit on the spatial structure of a single city is analyzed and the conclusion is drawn: it has a significantly enhanced the accessibility of cities;as the central city whose accessibility has been enhanced significantly after construction of intercity rail transit,it will have an agglomeration effect of information and a siphonic effect and promote the flow of urban elements in the industrial rearrangement.
