In recent years,several issues like the rapid development of urbanization,a large number of people into the city and the shortage of urban land have led to the rapid development of urban high-rise residential areas.In this situation,outdoor wind environment problems caused by highrise buildings have become increasingly prominent.Therefore,in this paper,methods including field investigation,questionnaire survey,field measurement and PHOENICS software simulation are used to study the optimization strategy of outdoor wind environment in Xuzhou high-rise residential area from the aspect of architectural planning.First of all,in order to understand the current situation of outdoor wind environment of highrise residential areas in Xuzhou,this paper investigated 11 high-rise residential areas in Xuzhou.According to the characteristics of construction planning of the research object,a questionnaire survey about current situation of outdoor wind environment of high-rise residential was performed on two communities,Arcadia residential area and Zijindongdun residential area.Then,on the basis of the existing wind environment evaluation standards at home and abroad,this paper put forward the evaluation criteria of outdoor wind environment in Xuzhou area combined with the characteristics of local wind environment in Xuzhou.The evaluation criteria: In the summer,the outdoor wind speed is between 1m/s-5m/s at the height of the pedestrian(1.5m),the wind speed amplification factor should be less than 2,the wind pressure difference between 75% building's front and back should be greater than 1.5Pa,and try to avoid the occurrence of wind vortex;In the winter,the outdoor wind speed should be less than 5m/s at the height of the pedestrian(1.5m),the wind speed amplification factor should be less than 2,the wind pressure difference between 75% building's front and back should be less than 5Pa(in addition to the first row of windward building),and try to avoid the occurrence of wind vortex.The measured results of the outdoor wind environment of high-rise residential areas are compared with the results simulated by the software.The results show that the simulation results are generally larger than the measured results,and there is a correlation between the two results.Furthermore,this paper used the method of controlling variables to discuss the impact of high-rise residential building planning and design to outdoor wind environment from five aspects,which included building height,building width,building orientation,building interval and architectural composition,and drew conclusions as follows.?1 With the increase of height,shade of wind behind the building was increase,and the wind environment became more disorder.The increase of building height resulted in the seriousness of downriver ventilation.?2 The augment of building width caused the enlargement of shade of wind and the enhancement of architectural wind,and affected the pedestrian activities around the building.This paper suggests that surface width of high-rise building should be less than 50 meters in Xuzhou ?3 The angle between the building orientation and the dominant wind direction would affect shade area of wind behind the building and effect of natural ventilation.This paper argued that under the influence of dominant wind direction in Xuzhou,the construction of the Xuzhou area was located between 15 and 30 degrees in the South by east.?4 Wind circulation in residential areas was influenced by architectural composition.In Xuzhou,central vacant building layout was the most ideal form among five common layout forms of high-rise residential areas.This paper summarized relevant optimization design strategy basing on the analysis of influence from high-rise residential area planning and design to outdoor wind environment.Finally,the paper took Arcadia residential area as an example and applied the optimized strategy deduced from the previous chapter to adjust residential construction planning.It could be seen that outdoor wind environment was elevated through software simulation verification.
