In recent years,the number of large-scale project is becoming larger in our country,structure of large-scale project is becoming more complex,and there are more and more difficulties managing it.In order to improve the management level of large-scale construction projects,BIM is increasingly used in the construction of large-scale construction projects.A lot of research and practice proved that the BIM can achieve many performance goals,such as integrating design and construction,reducing engineering changes and saving project costs.In order to further improve the management level of large-scale construction projects in our country and promote the application of BIM.Based on the literature review,case study and interview are adopted to explore the methods of management process reengineering and organizational structure designing in the large-scale construction projects using BIM.The three objectives of this paper are as follows:(1)Analyze the problems of the traditional management process and organizational characteristics of large-scale project;(2)Create management processes of a large-scale project based on BIM;(3)Build the organization architecture of a large-scale project based on BIM.This article is made up of seven parts.The first chapter introduces the research background and status,raises the objectivities of the research and the significance of the research,and establishes the research method and technical route of this article.The second chapter introduces basic theories about large-scale project,BIM and management process reengineering and organizational structure designing.The third chapter analyzes the problems of the traditional management process,and builds the management process based on BIM.The fourth chapter analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the basic organizational structure,and designs the organizational structure based on BIM.The fifth chapter explores the concrete process of management process reengineering and organizational designing of large-scale project through case study.The sixth chapter summarizes the main conclusions of this paper,and discusses defects and future research directions.Conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Traditional management processes have some problems in the aspects of design explanation,schema optimization,coordination and cooperation,schedule management,cost management and on-site management.the matrix organizational structure is the ideal choice when a large-scale project wants to use BIM.(2)Based on the impact of BIM on the traditional project management processes,the processes which are needed to be rebuilt in large-scale construction projects using BIM are analyzed systematically,and the management processes of a large-scale project based on BIM are created.(3)Based on the impact of BIM on the traditional organizational architecture,the changes of organizational structure in large-scale construction projects using BIM are analyzed systematically,and the organizational architecture of a large project based on BIM is established.The research results of this paper enrich the theoretical system of BIM in project management,provide a theoretical basis for construction enterprises to apply BIM in large-scale project,improve the management level of large-scale construction projects,reengineering the management process and designing a reasonable organizational structure.
