With the concept of "sustainable development" spreading around,green building,which is characterized by energy saving,low carbon emission,environmental protection has been continuously developing and popularizing in the field of building.At present,green building in urban construction has been vigorously promoted,but in rural construction also needs further popularization.For the current state of rural green building,this thesis,based on BIM technology,analyzed the carbon emissions of the building during its whole life cycle.Based on the BIM technology,this thesis chose the rural housing building in the cold area of North China as the research object,and designed a reasonable green building form according to the local climate and geographical conditions.Based on the research of building carbon emissions of domestic and foreign scholars,this thesis,combined with the study of this object,mainly studied the carbon emission of the building during its whole life cycle,from the stage of materials production and transportation,and the construction phase of the building,to the operation and maintenance of the building.Because of the complexity and quantity of material used in the construction process of building procurement,BIM technology can automatically generate bills of quantities and usages of materials.By multiplying carbon emission coefficient parameters of building materials,BIM technology can calculate building carbon emissions conveniently.Referring to the calculation of the machinery usage during construction stage,this thesis utilized the project quota and the actual use of construction machinery to deduce the quantity of the machinery,then calculated the carbon emissions during the construction stage.Based on the building model,the Energy consumption simulation software was used to calculated the energy consumptions of the building during the operational phase of the building.Then the carbon emissions during the stage of operation and maintenance were computed.At last,we got the result of carbon emissions of the building during its whole life cycle.In this thesis,BIM technology was used to study the carbon emissions of rural green building in the cold regions of China during the whole life cycle.The 3D modeling software,cost software and energy consumption software were used to deduce the quantity of the carbon emissions.The result of this thesis shows that the BIM technology is convenient and practical to use,and it has certain application value in the analysis of rural residential carbon emissions in the cold area.
