1553B bus has a certain transmission delay,high reliability,simple and flexible features.It is widely used in aerospace and military areas.After years of research and development,1553 B bus has become the most important data bus in China's active avionics system data bus.At the same time,with the development of science and a variety of microelectronics,integrated system and telecommunication technology,the performance of components in aerospace is also improving,which makes higher request for chip products using 1553 B bus protocol.However,the 1553 B bus was first proposed by the United States,which means its core technology is owned by by the United States.So independent research and development of 1553 B bus protocol chip has a very important strategic significance to China's aerospace development.So C,also known as the System-on-Chip,was originated in the middle of 1990 s.The So C chip contains all the features of the system.In the aerospace and other fields there has higher requirements on chip's performance,weight and volume,in which So C plays an important role.According to the design flow of So C,the design scheme is using the Power PC processor and PLB bus architecture,this paper proposes a BC/RT module in high-speed 1553 B IP core according to the MIL-STD-1553 B protocol.First of all,the BC/RT module is divided into several sub modules.These modules mainly consists of interfaces,DMA controller,Manchester encoder/decoder and BC/RT protocol processor.The functions of these sub modules are analyzed respectively.The Verilog hardware description language is used to design its internal logic function module.The 1553 B to PLB bus interface module is used to connect the well-designed BC/RT module to the PLB bus,through this module the Power PC processor can interview the BC/RT module,which achieves the connection of BC/RT module and the entire So C chip.At the end,the BC/RT module is divided into functions.The functions are verified on the So C verification platform.Through the analysis of the verification results,when the clock frequency of the 1553 B module is 12 MHz and it's also means the transmission rate of the 1553 B bus is 1Mb/s,which shows that the function of the BC/RT module satisfies the 1553 B protocol and the BC/RT module is compatible 1Mb/s transmission rates and has high reliability.It meets the requirements on the miniaturization of a embedded system.
