With the localization of DC power transmission technology,DC power transmission projects rapidly realize localization.Nowadays,the two technical platforms of global DC power transmission,based on MACH2 technical platform of ABB and modular technical platform of Siemens,have became the foundations of spanning development of localization of DC power transmission projects.The DC power control and protection system of almost all inverter and converter stations of the State Grid is based on MACH2 technology of ABB,among which the control and protection system of Zhengping converter station is the earliest application.The electronic boards used in Zhengping station have been on operation for more than a decade,which far exceed their service lives.Many boards,components and parts have problems of age and reference drift.The sluggish change of components and parts' reference has became a hidden danger,and there was a precedent that water cooling control and protection system made a mistake because of the reference change of PS 868 board.At present,all the stations don' t have reliable and simple examining measures to quickly examine the boards' factory references in the station.Also it is very hard to know whether an electronic board long-term stored in the warehouse is still reliable when we need to replace with it.So it is very necessary to design an automatic examining device to quickly and conveniently appraise electronic boards'performance in the working fields.Meanwhile,this device should have huge compatibility and expansion,in order to take tests,such as offline solidifying application,examining boards' status,etc.By means of this debug device,the maintenance men are able to distinguish the boards after simple training,so that the control and protection device of low level in the station keeps high reliability.For the above requirements,we design and develop the automatic debug device for the MACH2 boards,and realize the function of automatic test for PS868 board.The development of automatic debug board of PS868,T-868,supply us with technical reserve for the other IO boards ' future development.In the process of the project,we make strict technical requirements,and select Zhengping converter station to test.The serials of tests turn out the apparatus is available to automatically test boards.The device fills in a gap in this field,provides basis and standards for the follow-up research.We are sure that the device is available to spread its appliance to other stations.
