Zamiin-Ude Railway Port Station is the largest land border port of Mongolia to China.As a pivotal juncture,it plays an crucial role in developing cross border transport corridor.The continuous implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative is boosting the trade between China,Mongolia,Russia as well as other European countries along the route.The soaring logistic volume demands a more advanced Zamiin-Ude Railway Port Station in terms of construction,technology,workflow and service.Against this backdrop,the dissertation analyzes the current conditions,the strategic positioning of Zamiin-Ude Railway Port station,and its standard gauge import freight process as well as the main influencing factors.Firstly,the dissertation predicts the import container volume of the station in the next five years by applying BP neural network prediction method and then conducts necessity analysis of its workflow optimization.Secondly,under the guidance of Petry Net Theory,the dissertation builds a hierarchical model for the workflow of import container cargo at the station and simulates the model by Matlab software Stateflow toolkit,which determines the key factors that affect the efficiency of workflow.Thirdly,the dissertation adopts DMAIC model and ECRS analysis method to optimize the workflow and builds and stimulates an optimized Petri net model.Finally,the dissertation compares the simulation results before and after the optimization to verify the effectiveness of the optimization plan.The dissertation is written in six chapters.Chapter 1 deals with the research background and literature review.Chapter 2 introduces the basic conditions and major operation of the station and its strategic positioning.It applies BP neural network prediction method to predict the import container volume of the station in the coming five years and analyzed the necessity to optimize its workflow.Chapter 3 illustrates flowchart method,elaborates on the specific workflows of import container cargo at the station,draws the corresponding cross-functional flowcharts and researches on the main influencing factors.Chapter 4 is about the basic thinking of DMAIC model and ECRS analysis method adopted in the dissertation.It also summarizes the basic content of Petri Net Theory,builds a level-1 Petri net model and nine level-2 Petri net models for the import container cargo workflow and uses Matlab software Stateflow toolkit to simulate the model and determine the key factors affecting the efficiency of the work flow.Chapter 5 optimizes the workflow,builds and simulates an optimized Petri net model basing on DMAIC model and ECRS analysis method.The comparison of the simulation results before and after optimization proves that the optimization plan can dramatically improve the working efficiency and verifies the effectiveness of the plan.Chapter 6 reveals the conclusion and research prospects.
