General Reducer Form Project Change Management Case Study

Along with the market environment from "seller’s market" to "buyer’s market" changes,project management mode can better deal with personalized customer requirements,differentiation,so many traditional enterprises are faced with driving a shift to the project.As industries strive to compress product life cycles,reduce costs,and improve the quality of deliverables,companies are increasingly turning to project management.When companies began to focus on the widely used,research progress and development methods and project control system,discussing the process of management project,the project management office as an effective organization,is gradually popular.This paper adopts case study method,by describing the general reducer project management office to form a case,describes the enterprise three times change,from setting a "big project manager system" to a "big project management" to "big project management" reform,summarizes each change within the enterprise response and running situation of the project,exposed three times change still not fundamentally solve the construction period,quality and customer satisfaction of the three major problems.This paper uses project management maturity,project management office and other related theory,analysis this case at different stages of project management maturity level,the basic condition of the project management office,according to the correct form of the PMO process,and evaluate the success or failure of each time change,to seek solutions that improve project performance.Finally,through the construction of the project management maturity evaluation system and the formation system of PMO,the project management office in the future will be optimized and developed to improve the project performance.It is hoped that the research results of this paper can provide some guidance and reference to the practice of improving management efficiency of project management office in China.
