Canine babesiosis parasitic on canine red blood cells,babesia infection,hemolytic anemia,fever,splenomegaly,characteristic,serious harm to our country the health of dogs.Objective: Part of the literature refers to the damage of liver and kidney function in dogs.In this study,the main indexes of liver function and the renal function were analyzed by biochemical examination.On the role of dogs suffering from liver and kidney function,to provide ideas for treatment.In this paper,116 cases of canine babesia disease in Xi'an Animal Hospital of Northwest A & F University from January 2013 to December 2015 were used to study the effects of Babesi insects on dogs Liver and kidney function damage,and through interrogation and biochemical tests and other methods to record their age,variety,gender,biochemical examination results.The Results indicates that the survey of 116 cases of canine babesiosis cases indicate that the number of cases Teddy dog up to 41,accounting for the total amount of the 35.3% cases,alkaline phosphataseand total bilirubin were increased,the number of cases were 102 and 65 respectively,the total number of cases 87.9% and 56%respectively;Meanwhile,babesiosis can also cause calcium concentration decreased,116 cases among the 96 cases,the serum calcium concentration decreased,accounting for 82.8% of the total cases.Conclusion: The Teddy dog is susceptible to babesiosis.As to the effect of liver and kidney function,mainly caused total alkaline phosphatase and total bilirubin increased,while developed hypocalcemia.Therefore,in the treatment of canine babesiosis,we should pay attention to the use of drugs to protect liver and kidney function to determine the efficacy of the disease.
