An Exploration Of The Development On Jiangxi Higher Agricultural Education Since The Chinese Reform And Opening

Since the reform and opening up of China,the higher education has been developing continuously and has gradually built up a large-scale and complete system,with advanced and far-reaching talent training mode,scientific research and social service achievements.During this period,the development of the higher agricultural education also experienced meandering exploration course.Jiangxi Province,as a major agricultural province in the central region of China,has its own characteristics on higher agricultural education,which has far-reaching influence on regional agriculture,even on the national agricultural economy and social development.Therefore,this paper aims to analyze the status of Jiangxi higher agricultural education since the reform and opening up for more than 30 years,with the applying of literature research method,the interview method and the statistical method,in combination with the law of higher education external and internal relationship to grasp the essential characteristics and major influencing factors in every stage,so as to learn from the history and focus on the present.The expectation of the author is to help promote the current reforming and development of higher agricultural education with the experience and suggestions in this paper.The paper firstly introduces the research background,purpose and significance,the current research at home and abroad,the research ideas and research methods,the related theoretical basis and concepts,the related definition and the difficulty and innovation of the research.This part is mainly a theoretical preparation for the main body of the paper.Then,it is a general analysis on the development of higher agricultural education in Jiangxi Province since the reform and opening up.On the basis of the general development features and the occurrence of landmark events,we divide it into three periods: restoring period(1978-1998),expanding period(1999-2007),connotation period(2008-2015).then based on the study with Jiangxi Agricultural University,this paper discusses the main situation and characteristics of higher agricultural education's development in every period,with the detailed statistical analysis on the talents training scale,professional structure and setting,scientific research and teachers status.After that,from the perspective of theoretical study,this paper explores the deep relationship between the higher agricultural education with the internal and external environment.At last,this paper analyses the external and the internal motivations reveal the hidden implications for the future development.
