| Rose garden is primarily composed of different kinds of roses and other plants from the rose family(Rosaceae).Rose garden can be a theme garden within a botanical garden or it can be an independent rose theme park with aesthetic and scientific values.Zijing Park is a typical rose theme park in Changzhou.It has high reputation in the whole country,which had been awarded the title of ‘World Excellent Rose Garden' in 2012.So it is important to study the plant landscape of Zijing Park.This paper established a landscape evaluation model and the information database of the theme plant through investigation and analysis on the plant community and rose landscape of Zijing Park.This study provides a support for landscape design of rose garden and the establishment of its information database of future work in China.The contents and research results are as follows:(1)The investigation of rose landscape: the whole layout was the combination of regulation and natural pattern.The partition is divided into one axis and five area.The main rose varieties in the park were 270,including 152 varieties of hybrid perfume rose(HT),36 varieties of multiple-flower rose(F),9 varieties of miniature rose(Min),3 varieties of ground cover rose(R),27 varieties of shrub rose(S),25 varieties of rattan rose(Cl),as well as 18 kinds of ancient rose varieties.The application of rose landscape includes flower,flower beds,flower racks,flower belt,vertical green and other types.(2)The investigation of plant community landscape:there are 224 varieties of ornamental plants in the garden,belonging to 82 families and 157 genera,and the proportion of trees,shrubs,herbs,vines,aquatic and bamboo plants is 17: 17: 18: 2: 1: 1.The ratio of evergreen plants to deciduous plants is about 1: 1.4,and the average species richness of tree,shrub and herb layer was 4.267.(3)The evaluation of the rose landscape:51 typical landscape photos and seven landscape evaluation factors reflecting the characteristics of the rose were selected.Landscape evaluation model was constructed by the SBE method and the description factor method,which turned out that ‘landscape singularity',‘landscape level' and ‘architectural / landscape sketches' were main factors that affect the beauty of the landscapes.(4)The construction of the theme plant information database: Rose information Database made by geographic information system are established for inquirement and management conveniently. |
