In recent years, there are many reports about the yeast culture in the application of ruminant animal and poultry, but in piglets and fattening pigs are seldom reported. We selected high quality yeast culture to raise the pigs. The experiment was designed to study the effect of yeast culture on pigs through growth performance, nutrient apparent ratewas metabolic rate and serum index, providing a theoretical basis for the application of yeast culture in pig production. We selected 360 binary landrace piglets whose average weaning age were 28 days old and the average weight were consistent. And all of them grew well. Then they were randomly divided into 3 groups with 4 replications of 30 piglets each.Half of them were male, the others were female. The control group fed the corn-soybean basal diet, while group 1 and 2 fed with corn-soybean basal diet adding yeast culture with 5g/kg and 10g/kg respectively. The whole experiment lasted for 135 days. The experiment 1 was to explore the effects of yeast culture on growth performance and nutrient digestibility of pigs at different stages. The feeding experiment was divided into two stages. The first stage in piglets 34-70 days old.Piglets were randomly divided into 3 groups. The second stage, during the age of 71-163 days.Keeping the control group in the first stage and the good performance growth of group 1 in the first stage to continue feeding test. And at 71-116 days yeast culture added substance still 5g/kg,at 117-163 days yeast culture supplementation was 3g/kg.Digestion test in the 31 d test. The results indicated that at the first stage :(1)The average daily feed intake of the groups 1 and 2 was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).(2)The average daily gain of the groups 1 and 2 was very significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.01).(3)Compared with the control group, the feed-weight ratio of groups 1 and 2 was reduced, but did not reach a significant level(P>0.05).(4)The average daily feed intake and daily gain of the piglets fed 5g/kg yeast culture group were significantly higher than those of the yeast culture group with the addition of 10g/kg(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).From the whole test period,at the second stage compared with the basal group, the daily gain of the experimental group was very significant improved(P<0.01),and the end weight of the experimental group had a higher tendency than the control group. The results showed that yeast culture could significantly improve the growth performance of weaned piglets, but the growth performance of weaned piglets did not increase with the increase of the concentration of yeast culture.Combined with the results of this experiment, the optimal concentration of the yeast culture was 5g/kg.The results of digestion test showed that: Dry matter, test group 1 and test group 2 dietary crude protein, crude fat, crude ash, calcium and phosphorus digestibility increased significantly(P<0.05),group 1 of crude protein and crude fat digestibility were very significant higher than the control group(P<0.01).Group 1and 2 in the experimental on the dry matter digestion ability was significantly enhanced(P < 0.05);and there was no significant difference in nutrient digestibility between the group 1 and 2(P>0.05).Economic analysis showed that the use of yeast culture could increase the gross profit of 34.65 yuan per pig in the process of pig breedingThe experiment 2 was to explore effect of yeast culture on serum biochemical indexes of pigs at different stages. On the thirty-fifth and 129 th day of the experiment,a good growth of piglets was selected in each replicate to draw blood from the anterior vena cava. Then isolated the serum and measure the Serum biochemical parameters of weaned piglets. The results showed that: ?In the experimental the serum ALT of group was significantly reduced compared with the control group(P<0.05),and alkaline the phosphatase of group 1was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).(2)The high density lipoprotein cholesterol of group 2 was significantly higher than control group and group 1(P<0.05).(3)Compared with the control group, the total protein, antibody concentration and Ig G in serum albumin of group 2 was significantly increased(P<0.05),and the urea nitrogen decreased significantly(P<0.01).We also found that glucose, globulin and antibody Ig M in group 2 were higher than control group, but did not reach significant level(P>0.05).(4)There were no significant difference between the group 1 and the control group(P>0.05).The above results showed that yeast culture can effectively improve the serum biochemical index of weaned piglets, and also can increased protein content in the serum to enhance immunity The higher the concentration of yeast culture, the more obvious the effect of improvement.During the stage of fattening pigs, the results showed that: Compared with the control group, the experimental group significantly increased the serum globulin and antibody concentration(P < 0.05),serum nitrogen content was significantly reduced(P < 0.05).In summary, the use of dietary yeast culture could improve the growth performance of piglets and fattening pigs. The apparent digestibility of nutrients in weaned piglets and the immune function of weaned piglets were also improved.Adding yeast culture improves the growth of the economic benefits of feeding fattening pigs.
