Objective: This study analyzed expression and clinical significance of indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase(IDO) and CD 105 in colorectal cancer, and to analyze the relationship between IDO and CD105 further clarify the importance of colorectal cancer prognosis,to colorectal cancer immune therapy targeted to provide a theoretical and experimental basis.Method: The paraffin blocks of 64 cases of colon carcinomas including primary tumor and 30 cases of human tissue adjacent to carcinoma which were observed ?4cm from primary tumors, which were explicit diagnosed by pathology department, were collected from Anorectal (Hernia) Surgery of Binzhou Medical University Hospital from September 2014 to May 2015.Immunohistoche- mistry was used to detect the expression differences between the two groups IDO, CD105. Then by correlation analysis of the value of the MVD final score, explore the relationship between IDO and CD 105 expression in tumor tissues of patients with colorectal cancer.Results:1.The IDO expression in primary colorectal tumors and normal tissue adjacent to carcinoma is inconsistent. In the primary tumor, the positive rate was 73.4 percent and in the adjacent normal tissues, the positive rate was 40 percent. Chi-square test displays the Statistical significance (P<0.05). In 64 cases of colorectal cancer primary tumor tissue expression of IDO is irrelevant with age (P=0.421), gender (P=0.922), tumor site(P=0.073), depth of invasion (P=0.301), degree of differentiation (P=0.118) and distant metastasis (P=0.388), but the intensity of expression is associated with lymph node metastasis (P=0.005), the Dukes of clinical pathological stage (P=0.024), then the expression has significant correlation (P< 0.05).2. CD 105 expression can be labeled by the number of microvessel density (MVD) to represent. The MVD expression in primary colorectal tumors and normal tissue adjacent to carcinoma is inconsistent. In the primary tumor, the number of MVD was 30.77±5.76 and in the adjacent normal tissues, the number of MVD was 10.57±2.30.T test displays the Statistical significance (P<0.05). In 64 cases of colorectal cancer primary tumor tissue number of MVD is irrelevant with age (P=0.390),gender (P=0.977),tumor site(P=0.424), depth of invasion (P=0.180), degree of differentiation (P=0.185 ) and distant metastasis (P=0.151), but the intensity of expression is associated with lymph node metastasis (P=0.006), the Dukes of clinical pathological stage (P=0.008), then the expression has significant correlation (P< 0.05).3. The correlation analysis found that the relationship between IDO and CD105 expression has a significant positive correlation, P<0.01.Conclusions:High expression of IDO and CD 105 in colorectal primary tumor tissue, is conducive to tumor cell immune escape, thus contributing to colorectal cancer invasion and metastasis.
