Current Chinese introductions of this city are extremely limited and backward and some of the translation is even inaccurate. The author extracts and translates official and detailed information about the city from an official website of Turkish government so as to offer a comprehensive, effective and accurate introduction, which will help the Chinese to acquire more accurate information about this city and arouse their interests to pay a visit. The author appeals that every translator should bear intercultural awareness in mind and shoulder the responsibility to guarantee translation qualities and correct inaccurate translations in order to offer readers correct information.This report has altogether the following five chapters: the first chapter introduces the general information and main contents of the translation material as well as the importance of this translation practice and report. The second and the third chapters are the task description and process description. The fourth chapter is a case analysis, which discusses translation the problems and relevant translation strategies and methods from the lexical level, syntactic level and rhetorical level.
