The fundamental purpose of Chinese learners to learn Chinese is to improve the ability to use English for the actual communication and carry out verbal activity effectively. The rich Chinese stock footage, on one hand can provide a lot of natural language specification materials for learners and train the learners' skills effectively. On the other hand, it can also provide learners with rich cultural content and language that close to the real environment. Learners can broaden cultural horizons and improve the cross-cultural communication skills. In addition, video resources, as a way of entertainment, can provide a relaxed learning environment for learners. Moreover, it can stimulate learners' enthusiasm and make learners study through entertaining.This article contains five parts, the contents of each section are as follows:The Introduction describes the reasons why I chose this topic as well as the stock footage used in the current study of Chinese foreign teaching situation. It also includes the theoretical basis of this topic.The first chapter focuses on the necessity of the stock footage used in a foreign language teaching. It is divided into three small parts. It introduces an important role in foreign stock footage teaching Chinese separately from student communicative competence, cultural standards, stimulate interest in learning the three angles.The second chapter is the status of the content analysis of the use of stock footage. It is divided into two parts. The first part introduces the current published textbooks and some video material which combines with the teaching of Chinese. The second part analyzes the teaching practice and the use of visual material in supporting teaching some difficulties and problems.Undertake Chapter 3, Chapter 2 proposed the principle of moderate difficulty, cultural communication, language specification, four options fascinating video instructional materials should grasp according to the current problems in teaching. It also analyzes the clear goal of teachers in the teaching process should pay attention to timely and appropriate teaching strategies, etc.The fourth chapter is the part of the instructional design. The author reviews the collected data, in conjunction with teaching experience of schools, in the sitcom "Families with children" Teaching Materials, the author designed a lesson I heard a foreign language teaching case in order that the article is able to provide some reference for future scholars engaged in the research.The Conclusion summarizes the main contents of this article and made many deficiencies in this article. It is also looking in to the future of using stock footage in the Chinese language teaching.
