In the wave of global economic integration, cultural competition which belong to overall national strength have become prominent. As an important part in international trade, cultural trade not only bring huge economic benefits, but also have the task to transmit a country's cultural influence. So how to increase investment in cultural development, to develop cultural and economic together, to increase the cultural soft power to enhance international competitiveness, it is a common task facing the world. China, as one of the world's four ancient civilizations, has five thousand years of history, and is an important role in the world's cultural system. In contrast, the share of China's cultural trade in international cultural trade market is very low, and also have a huge trade deficit, that is not match with the status of our cultural resources in the world.Korea is geographically adjacent with China, and is both influenced by Confucian culture, so the cultural background are similar between two countries. In recent years, the development of Korean culture trade is rapid. "Gangnam Style" which is a popular music throws the sign of "Korean culture" worldwide in 2012. Korea has already developed into a world-recognized cultural power country, while China's cultural trade deficit still in the mire. The successful experience of Korean culture industry is worth our reference.This paper introduces the theory of cultural trade first, and the development of China's cultural trade, then compares the trade growth, the development of cultural products and industrial policies between China and South Korea's business culture, and calculate Export Markets Share, Trade Competiveness and Revealed Comparative Advantage of the two countries through cultural data which consult UNCRAD, to compare the international competitiveness between two countries, then summed up the development of cultural differences between China and South Korea trade process. Found out the constraints problems to cultural trade development, and learn from the successful experience of Korean culture and trade development to guide the development of China's cultural trade.
