Translation Practice Report Of The Management Structures And Department Functions Of Real Estate Development Co., Ltd Based On Functional Equivalence Theory

China's real estate market has entered a new period of development since 1998;under the government's encouragement and guidance,real estate industry has undergone from recession to recovery,making rapid development and becoming one of the fastest growing industries in China.With increasing degree of market scale,as an important economic lever,China's real estate industry makes great effects on urban construction,people's living conditions and economic development,occupying a pivotal position in the national economy.More and more real estate companies have been established because of the prosperity of the real estate industry,and at the same time there is a short supply of talent resources.The author's translation practice task is The Management Structures and Department Functions of Linfen Bohaoyuan Real Estate Development Co.,Ltd,published by Linfen Bohaoyuan Real Estate Development Co.,Ltd,for recruiting staff and explaining functions of different departments.The report is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is introduction of the report;the second chapter is description of translation task,including background,significance and purpose of translation task;the third chapter is description of translation process,including preparation before translation,translation and proofreading.The fourth chapter is case analyses,mainly introducing Eugene Nida's Functional Equivalence Theory and features of informative text.Some samples about words,phrases and sentences are analyzed under the guidance of Functional Equivalence Theory in this chapter.The fifth chapter is summary.Through the translation,the author has gained much knowledge,realized shortcomings,ensured learning objectives and had more comprehensive understanding of informative text.Finally,the author hopes it could provide some suggestions on translation of informative text.
