The Study Of The Relationship On Resilience, Employment Pressure And Subjective Well-being, Based On Master Degree Candidates | | Posted on:2017-06-14 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:F Han | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2335330485450171 | Subject:Development and educational psychology | | Abstract/Summary: | | | As the representative crowd of high pursuit and self-esteem,when master degree candidates faced with severe employment situation,how to ease the psychological pressure and maintain mental health is a major concern.Subjective well-being is an important measure of the level of individual mental health.Employment pressure is an important factor of master degree candidates’ SWB.The resilience can buffer the negative emotions brought by employment pressure.In this study,through using the resilience scale(CD-RISC),while using the questionnaire of graduate students’ employment pressure and general well-being schedule(GWB),chooses 560 master degree candidates in five institutions of Shan Xi to conduct an investigation.The study is to investigate the status and relationship of employment pressure,resilience and subjective well-being of master degree candidates,and then it explores the mediator role of employment pressure between resilience and subjective well-being,the research results show that:1.The master degree candidates’ resilience level as a whole is above average.On the total score of resilience,the non-only child’s score is significantly higher than the only child’s.Master degree candidates’ score from rural is significantly higher than master degree candidates’ from city and town.2.The employment pressure of master degree candidates is placed in the medium level.The master degree candidates of different grade and major get significant different scores in the aspect of the total employment pressure.Master degree candidates’ score in the second and third grade is significantly higher than master degree candidates’ in the first grade.The score of history and philosophy master degree candidates,science and engineering master degree candidates,finance and economics master degree candidates is higher than pharmaceutical master degree candidates’.3.The master degree candidates’ subjective well-being level as a whole is above average.The master degree candidates of different gender,grade,economic condition and major get significant different scores in the aspect of the total subjective well-being.Boy’s score is significantly higher than the girl’s.Master degree candidates’ score in the first grade is significantly higher than the master degree candidates’ in the second and third grade.Pharmaceutical master degree candidates’ score is significantly higher than histor y and philosophy master degree candidates’ and science and engineering master degree candidates’,but is not significant different with finance and economics master degree candidates’.Master degree candidates’ score from middling economic condition is significantly higher than bad economic condition master degree candidates’,but is not significant different with good economic condition master degree candidates’.4.There is an intimate connection among the master degree candidates’ resilience,employment pressure and subjective well-being.Resilience is negatively related to employment pressure significantly.Resilience is positively related to subjective well-being significantly.Employment pressure is negatively related to subjective well-being significantly.5.The mediator’s test indicates that the employment pressure is the mediator between resilience and subjective well-being level,and the mediation effect is significant. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Master degree candidates, Resilience, Employment, pressure, Subjective well-being | | Related items |
