The dramatic development of globalization offers a huge communication platform for countries and regions from all over the world. Simultaneous Interpretation (SI), a linguistic bridge, is not only widely used in international conferences and seminars, but also introduced to more and more television programs now. Meanwhile, More discussion and interview sessions are added to international forums to encourage the interaction amongst the participants. This report is based on a simulated SI practice of The Hollywood Reporter Roundtable:the Actors in 2014 awards season. According to Daniel Gile's Effort Models and related theories, it discusses the simultaneous interpretation for television interview practice. At the beginning, the author introduces the simultaneous interpretation for television and its present research. The first two chapters describe the interpreting task and the interpreting preparation. In the third chapter, the author compares and analyses the source language and target language to find out the difficulties and problems during the process. In the forth chapter, she gives the specific interpreting strategies and suggestions. Finally, the paper concludes the simulated practice experience and the future direction. It is believed that this paper will arouse interpreters' attention to television interview simultaneous interpretation and promote the development of the practitioner training.
