Psychological capital is the positive resource which promote the development of individual and performance of behavior. The stage of junior high school students is an important stage for individual's physical and mental development from immature to mature. Cultivate psychological capital of junior students is good to develop the potential and achievement of their study,and make junior student better to adapt the circumstance in school.This study is based on the existing theory of psychological capital, the selection of some instruments and methods, and examination to them. Using613 junior student of two junior high school in Hohhot to investigate and analyze the psychological capital in junior students. This research make these conclusions:1.The questionnaire of psychological capital in junior students have a good reliability and validity.2.The whole and each dimension of psychological capital in junior students are in high level(the average is more than 3 point), but the distribute of each dimension is unbalance.3.The psychological capital of junior students have no significant difference in gender, and the place where the students live in, and one-born or not in their family. But the male students have high confidence than female students, not one-born students have high interpersonal relationship and expectation than one-born students.4.The psychological capital of junior students have significant in grades,whether the class cadres, and academic. The level of psychological capital make descend tendency from grade one to grade three. The level of confidence, wish, interpersonal relationship, self control in grade one and grade two are higher than grade three. The level of interpersonal relationshipand wish in grade one are higher than grade two; The level of confidence,optimistic, interpersonal relationship, self control and wish in students who are the class cadres than students who do not class cadres; The level of confidence, interpersonal relationship, toughness, self control, wish in students who have higher academic are higher than those students who have lower academic.5.The psychological capital of junior students have significant difference in educational background of students' father. The level of psychological capital and confidence in students whose father have higher diploma than those students whose father have lower educational background.6.From the interview survey, we found that junior students pay more attention to three key words like “Happiness”, “Joy”, “Positive”, but they pay less attention to three key words such as “supervise”, “Initiative”, “Emotion”.For these above conclusions, this study proposes some viable educational suggestions, and in order to make junior students in better study and life situation.
