Fairness has always been the target of the human society. In recent years, people are paying more attention to fairness issues such as education fairness, gender equality and therefore all areas also carried out a lot of research on issues of fairness. In the field of psychology, psychologists have found many factors influencing fairness,such as emotion,sex,age, social comparison, social status. The ultimatum game and the dictator game are often used in psychology to study the fairness. Power plays an important role in our life,psychology to study power problem in recent years. Power is a kind of subjective feeling in study of psychology and psychologists used some methods to raise the subjects of high power or low power. Psychology has a lot of research on fairness and power but there is few research on the influence of power and fairness. We will have what different reactions in the behavior level and neural physiological level if we were treated unfairly in our life or in work,meeting a people who has a high or low power level than us and we suffered the unfair treatment of others when having a high power or low power. To solve the answers of these questions are one of the most important purpose of this experiment. This study use the dictator game,discuss the influence of power rating to fairness. This study through two experiments, using the event related potential technology to explore the influence of power rating to fairness.In experiment 1,we use the dictator game, Explored when the proposer is your boss, colleagues or subordinates these people with different levels of power, the subjects under the condition of fair and unfair reaction will have what difference. Experiment 1 is a 2(fairn unfair)*3(boss colleagues subordinates)within-subject design. Behavior data are the satisfaction ratings of participants,the ERP data areMFN,P300. we also use the dictator game in experiment 2. we use power words evoking the participants with high, low or no power situation. experiment 2 is a 2(fair unfair)*3(high power low power no power)within-subject design. Behavior data are the satisfaction ratings of participants,the ERP data areMFN,P300. Finally, the results are as follows:In experiment 1, there is a significant difference on fair situation and unfair situation.The satisfaction ratings in fair situation is higher than unfair situation. No matter in fair or unfair situation,the higher power of the proposer,the higher satisfaction ratings of the participants. In the ERP data,unfair MFN and P300 amplitude is more negative than fair conditions when participants faced with colleagues.In experiment 2, there is a significant difference on fair situation and unfair situation.The satisfaction ratings in fair situation is higher than unfair situation. There is no significant difference on the level of power sense. In the ERP data, unfair MFN amplitude is more negative than fair conditions when participants are in a state of no power.In fair situation, there is a significant difference on P300 amplitude with high power,low power and no power,in turn,is the no power, low power,high power.
