“Shi……de” sentence is not only a special sentence pattern in modern Chinese,but also a key and difficult sentence for foreign students to learn.For foreign students,learning this Chinese sentence is particularly important.In this paper,I analyze and conclude the English-speaking students' errors when using “Shi…… de”,and then discusses the problems and reasons exposed when they acquisitive Chinese.Then it can help the teaching project of foreign students.The paper consists of seven parts.The introduction part introduces the reason why I choose the topic,the goal and the significance,the theoretical basis and methods of the research,writing ideas.The first chapter is the literature review,which includes the ontology research and the research of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The second chapter is the comparison between Chinese and English sentence structure of “Shi……de” sentence.The third chapter focuses on English-speaking students' errors when using“Shi …… de” sentence.The research is based on the language materials in HSK corpus.The errors consists of four common types:omitting,wrong order,addition error,substitution error.The fourth chapter analyzes the reasons of errors made by students.According to the types and rates of their errors,I find out the reasons: differences between Chinese and English;the influences of communication strategies;the influences of teaching materials and Chinese learning tool books.The fifth chapter puts forward some reasonable suggestions from two aspects.Teaching methods: enhance systematic teaching,sense of language and interests;teaching materials: strengthen the join of grammar,reflect teaching materials' interests.Conclusion of this article summarizes the research achievements and shows the innovation of this paper as well as disadvantages.
