This interpretation report comes from The United States Tribal Nations Conference of 2015. The interpreter will do consecutive interpretation by simulating the scene.This report is composed of five parts. The first part is to introduce the interpretation task including its background, contents and features; the second part is to describe how interpreter prepares for this task in terms of several relevant topics, members of the panel and difficulties predicted;the third part is to record the whole process; the forth part is the case study by analyzing interpretation strategies adopted and how interpreter deal with difficulties and problems undone; the final part is about reflecting the whole process and existing problems.Through this practice, the interpreter realizes that there is a long way to go before imperfection goes perfectly. This report will be of great help. |
