In 1979 Japan's NHK television station jointly with China Central Television documentary "Silk Road", with images showing the area along the Silk Road history and culture, but also opened the Chinese and foreign co-produced TV documentary prologue. After the Silk Road theme documentary "New Silk Road", "Silk Road, resumed journey" "looking: the new Silk Road Journey" respectively from different perspectives show the picture of ancient Silk Road. Based on the four documentaries in the text of discourse analysis, that the construction of the social memory media image picture Silk Road, Silk Road history of time and space to create the image of "representation" and "Imagine." Mass media images shape the discourse of a social consensus in the image of the Silk Road.
