Research On The Image Expression Of Documentary Films On The Silk Road Theme

The Silk Road is an important part of China's long history and culture,and an important witness to the convergence of Eastern and Western civilizations.In the history of the development of documentary films in China,the display of the Silk Road has never been interrupted.Starting from the "Silk Road" co-produced in China in 1980,the breadth and depth of the documentary on the Silk Road began to be extended in many ways.In 2013,“The Belt and Road”initiative proposed that a large number of documentaries expressing the spirit of “openness and tolerance” and“cooperation and mutual benefit” in contemporary Silk Road emerged.These documentaries are based on realistic development and conform to the theme of the times.Image expression opens up a whole new field.According to the development of time,this paper selects three representative documentaries of ?Silk Road?,?New Silk Road?and ?The Belt and Road?as research objects,using sample research method,comparative analysis method and other methods to explore silk in different periods.The image expression characteristics of the road documentary,and then analyze the ideological value and artistic aesthetic value contained in the image.At the same time of comprehensive analysis,it elaborates on the connection between documentary creation and the background of the times,thus providing experience for the creation of the Silk Road theme documentary.This article is divided into the following sections:The first chapter is the introduction part.Firstly,from the research background,it is determined that the Silk Road theme documentary is an object of research value.Secondly,by combing the research status,it is found that most of the research directions are relatively simple,and the Silk Road is rarely used as a subject to study its overall developmental characteristics,and there is a lack of research on newworks that are more fitting to the times.The research on road theme documentary has certain innovation.The second chapter gives an overview of the historical evolution of the Silk Road and the development of the Silk Road theme documentary.The Silk Road has undergone a transition from the ancient Silk Road to the“Belt and Road”,and the Silk Road civilization has renewed its life in the new era.The documentary film of the Silk Road has experienced three stages of development,development and maturity since 1980.Through the combing of the documentary of each period,it grasps the creative background and creation content of different periods.The third chapter studies the theme of the Silk Road theme documentary,and analyzes the themes of the three typical works created in different periods.Through the study of the content of each work's diversity,the theme of the diversity is extracted,and the theme of the work is summarized.The theme of the Silk Road theme documentary is changed from the mining of history and civilization to the present development.The fourth chapter analyzes the narrative features of three typical documentaries from the perspective of narrative perspective,narrative structure and narrative technique.In terms of narrative perspective,each documentary chooses different narrative perspectives depending on the theme,mainly from the perspective of omniscience,creator perspective,person perspective and diversified perspective.In terms of narrative structure,the three documentaries use the plate structure as a whole,and in the connection between each diversity and diversity,the connected,side-by-side and progressive-type plate structures are used.In the narrative technique,the three methods of documentary long shot,suspense setting and real reproduction are mainly used.The fifth chapter starts from the two aspects of visual language and auditory language,and analyzes the image language of the Silk Roaddocumentary.In visual language,the lens has multiple layers of meaning,and the rhythm of the lens gradually increases with the times;the color changes from several fixed colors to rich and beautiful colors.In the auditory language,the style and form of music and synchronic sounds are gradually diversified;the commentary has experienced changes from lyrics to documentary,from declarative to speculative.In addition,in some of the discourses,he also combined his own experience in the creation of graduation works,combining theory with practice,discovering and making up for the shortcomings in practice,and accumulating experience for the creation of such documentaries in the future.
