The Contrastive Study On The Words Which Are Mostly Used In Negative Type Between The Modern Chinese Dictionary(6th Edition) And Modern Chinese Standard Dictionary(3rd Edition)

Most of the words in modern Chinese are used in both of positive and negative type, but there are only a small part of the words are mostly used in negative type, these were called the words that mostly used in negative type. Based on the studies of the Modern Chinese Dictionary(6th edition) and Modern Chinese Standard Dictionary(3rd edition), we have compared and investigated these negative words that have definite label. Although the academia has a lot of research in negative type words, but these research is not perfect,systematic and comprehensive, especially the comparison research between the Modern Chinese Dictionary(6th edition) and Modern Chinese Standard Dictionary(3rd edition).Firstly, Based on previous studies, there is a description and analysis of the topics of the corpus of the sources?research basis?research method?research purpose and so on. Secondly,There is a description of the definition and label type of these words in two dictionaries.Thirdly, this chapter focus on the negative type words statistic and comparison from the aspect of vocabulary?paraphrase?instance. Finally, there is the summarization for the article.Through the quantitative analysis and quantitative statistics between two dictionaries, we acknowledged the negative type words form and collocation rule, and the differences of two dictionaries. Based on the research of this article, I hope to give some suggestions to lexicography.
