Writing teaching is a weak link of teaching Chinese as a second language, in the studies of TCSL the researches on the writing teaching are rare, and the researches on the misuses of words in writings are much rarer.In this paper, the research focuses on the misuses of words in Russian students’ Chinese writings, it is based on the theory of writing teaching in TCSL and cognitive linguistics theory, through the types and causes, it discuses the methods of misuses of words.The misuse of words in the Chinese writings of Russian students can be divided into the misuses of word-category, the misuses of word-meaning and the misuses of word-morpheme. According to the types of the misuses of words, we analyze the causes from three aspects: the misuses of word-category, the misuses of word-meaning and the misuses of word-morpheme. We discuss the teaching methods aiming at solving the misuses of words. The methods are putting forward to deal with the misuses of words, to provide guidance and reference for the writing teaching in TCSL. By the teachers’ raising-awareness of words-teaching and selecting right methods in writing teaching, Russian students are able to use words accurately and effectively.
