In this paper, we take Wspó?czesny j?zyk chi?ski, which was compiled by a polish professor, as our research object. With Chinese TA, we collected statistics and compared it with Chinese standards. We investigated and analyzed the volume of vocabulary, vocabulary levels, vocabulary SVL index, vocabulary repetition rate and vocabulary exercises.We found Wspó?czesny j?zyk chi?ski has proper vocabulary volume and levels. Under the learning time suggested, learners can easily master those vocabulary. The vocabulary levels are more difficult than those of foreign countries' Chinese textbooks but easier than those of Chinese local textbooks. The SVL index shows that it fits more with native speakers' words using reality. It has high repetition rate but the distribution and the intervals is not good for learners' learning. The exercise volume is not enough for reviewing, but the exercise types are fixed to help students review better. And the vocabulary of this textbook shows Polish features to some degree.In general, this textbook is basically able to fit the need of Polish learners in, but it can be better, so we came up with some suggestions.
