Wutai Mountain as the first of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China,is one place of Han and Tibetan culture coexist and with the royal and folk characteristics' temple,is one of the three center of Tibetan Buddhism spread in Han nationality.Wutai Mountain Buddhism is not only the bridge and the link to the cultural exchange between Han and Tibetan,but also plays an important role in the political and economic exchange.The rulers of the Ming and Qing Dynasties making use of Tibetan Buddhism to control over the Mongolian Tibetan and other ethnic minorities,Tibetan Buddhism in Mount Wutai in the Ming and Qing Dynasties to safeguard China's national unity and stability to an important role.Under the method of historical materialism and the results of previous studies and reading,based on a large number of Tibetan Mongolian material,the author trying to examine the development history of the Ming and Qing Dynasties of Tibetan Buddhism in Mount Wutai from multiple dimensions of religious,ethnic and political,further proved the relationship between the Mount Wutai of Tibetan Buddhism and the politics of imperial authority,to explore the status of Tibetan Buddhism in Mount Wutai in the political history of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Chapter 1 mainly traces back to the Mount Wutai before Ming Dynasty,Tibetan Buddhism development,lay an important foundation for the development of the Ming and Qing dynasties.Chapter 2 discussed in detail of the Ming Dynasty Tibetan Buddhism in Mount Wutai development,lists different period of Emperor Ming of Wutai Mountain and the specific activities,analysis of the background and reasons,taking the " An Da Feng Gong" as an example,and discusses the Wutai Mountain of Tibetan Buddhism's development of late Ming and early Qing Dynasty political relationship.Chapter 3 in-depth analysis development of the Qing Dynasty Tibetan Buddhism in Mount Wutai,taking the west of the Qing emperor patrol Wutai Mountain and other daily maintenance activities as examples.At the same time,the Qing government to strengthen the management of the affairs of Tibetan Buddhism in Mount Wutai,established the three powers of separation of the management system,formatted multi ethnic common management of Religious Affairs in Mount Wutai.A series of construction activities,the Tibetan Buddhism in Mount Wutai during the Qing Dynasty reached its prime.Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties,Mount Wutai of Tibetan Buddhism has experienced three stages of growth,prosperity,recession.The steady development of Tibetan Buddhism in Mount Wutai during the Ming Dynasty,prior to mid Qing Dynasty reached its prime,late Qing Dynasty gradually fading.At the same time,the government has gradually established a perfect management system support the development of Tibetan Buddhism in Mount Wutai.The history of Mount Wutai of the Ming and Qing Dynasties of Tibetan Buddhism always in the shadow of the imperial power plays an important role in the political history of the Ming and Qing dynasties.The Mount Wutai of the Ming and Qing Dynasties of Tibetan Buddhism history is a history of interaction with religion and politics.It indicates the changeable military and political situation of the boundary,which plays an important role in maintaining the peace of the border,maintaining social order,strengthening the rule of the dynasty,easing the national contradiction and so on.Since modern times,Mount Wutai Buddhism has played an important role in maintaining national unity and resisting foreign aggression.After the founding of new China,Wutai Mountain Buddhism influence still ringing in,as a symbol of national unity,with important political significance.The interaction of the Ming and Qing period of Tibetan Buddhism and the politics of imperial power,although there are historical limitations,but for our country in the new period of ethnic and religious work still to draw lessons from.
