Cooperative learning is a widely used communicative activity in TCSOL class. Because of its significant teaching achievements, cooperative learning is praised as one of the most successful reform in modern education. The main characteristics of cooperative learning are as follows:1. The good communication atmosphere provides students the chance to use Chinese for communication; 2. The cooperative relationship reduces the Chinese learners' learning anxiety, and enhances their confidence to speak Chinese.By observing intermediate Chinese speaking class, combining teaching illustrations, this thesis discussed the curriculum design, teaching activities and afterwards evaluation and feedback in the cooperative learning, then reflected on some new problems and made some suggestions.This thesis is divided into four parts. "Introduction" mainly stated the reasons for the choice, and summarized the domestic and international findings on cooperative learning. "Rationale" mainly discussed the nature of the intermediate Chinese speaking class, the problems and the teaching countermeasures; also mentioned the definition and the characteristics of cooperative learning. "Teaching Illustration" provided specific implementation of cooperative learning in intermediate Chinese speaking class. "Epilogue" provided with both a summary and a conclusion. |
