In recent years,with the enhancement of China's strength and international status,more and more foreigners in the world come to China to learn Chinese language and culture.It sets off a wave of “Chinese fever” and this also puts forward higher and higher requirements for the Chinese textbooks.The Chinese textbooks are important foundation of Chinese language teaching,and the quality of textbooks are important security of Chinese teaching.At the three stages of the Chinese language teaching,the intermediate stage is a bridge connecting the primary stage and advanced stage,and it is the critical stage for learners to master Chinese language skills and improve the level of Chinese stage.So the development,writing and researching of intermediate Chinese textbooks have great significance.This paper selects two sets of intermediate comprehensive textbooks “Developing Chinese-Intermediate Comprehensive Course” and “Boya Chinese-Intermediate” as the researching objects,including three parts.The first part is the introduction,including the introduction of the researching objects,the reason of selecting topic,the research purpose and significance,the research overview and the research methods.The second part is the main body,including six chapters.The first chapter compares the writing form of the two sets of textbook from two aspects:the whole writing form and the writing form of the vocabulary.The second chapter compares the vocabulary of the two sets of textbook from two aspects:the quantity and the comment of the vocabulary.The third chapter compares the text of the two sets of textbook from three aspects:the topic,the genre and the source of the text.The forth chapter compares the grammar of the two sets of textbook from two aspects:the quantity and comment of the grammar.The fifth chapter compares the exercise of the two sets of textbook from two aspects:the quantity and type of the exercise.The sixth chapter makes a general evaluation of the two textbooks from the five principles of pertinence,practicability,scientificity,interest,systematicness,then puts forward some writing advice about Chinese intermediate comprehensive textbooks.The third part is the conclusion.It concludes the main content of the text,finds out the comparative conclusion and points out the deficiency of the text.
