There are lots of polyphones in Chinese.While,due to their large quantity and complex relation between the pronounciation and meaning,they have became an important and difficult point for learners who take Chinese as a second language.Thus,it is necessary to study their Chinese polyphones learning.So far,there are lots of study about the modern Chinese polyphones.But the study about teaching polyphones as foreign language to specific learners are limited.Based on this,this thesis will take middle and high level Vietnamese students' polyphones learning as study objects.This thesis conclude five chapters.The introduction part introduces reaserch background of this thesis and the reason of choosing this topic.In addition,the current situation and development trend of the Chinese polyphones are systematically summarized,including a summary of the study on modern Chinese polyphones and study on polyphones teaching in TCFL.Meanwhile,the introduction also described its study objectives and study methods of this thesis.Chapter one makes a statistical analysis of polyphones in syllabus of Chinese vocabulary and Chinese characters in different level and Developing Comprehensive and BOYA textbooks.Then,it analyses the feature of polyphones in syllabus and books and makes a comparison of homophones between syllabus and Comprehensive books.Chapter two makes a list of common modern Chinese polyphones from the perspect of foreign students.Then it makes a classification of these common polyphones.Chapter three is the questionnaire survey about the middle and high level Vietnamese students' polyphones learning and teacher's polyphones teaching situation.Questionaire mainly survey the middle and high level Vietnamese students' polyphones learning strategy and teacher's teaching situation.The survey aims to find the Vietnamese students' polyphones study errors and provide content suggestions through the practical survey.Chapter four is the errors analysis about the questionaire survey.It mainly conclude four aspects of error,which include the influence from polyphones,influence from students,influence from teacher and textbooks.Chapter five is the teaching reflection and suggestion on the problems reflected by questionaire survey.This chapter puts forward suggestions from four aspects,including polyphones teaching in TCFL,students' learning attitude,teachers' teaching strategies and textbook strategies.
