In the researches on the design of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,they lack teaching design for teaching of Chinese with no foundation.In addition,in these teaching designs,there are few teaching designs for the first class.But in practical teaching,the first class is of important significance for teachers who teach Chinese as a foreign language.There are over 20 Confucius Institutes in South Korea at the moment,whose teachers for Chinese teaching are mainly undergraduates and postgraduates.Most of them do not have adequate teaching experience and their teaching skills are not mature.Based on the above,the writer decides to make a teaching design research for the first class of Korean adult Chinese learners who are with no foundation by taking Confucius Institute of Yongsei University as example.It is hoped to provide reference for new teachers of teaching Chinese as a foreign language who are going to face the first class of Chinese without foundation.In this teaching design,the writer firstly introduces its topic research background,current research situation both at home and abroad and research significance.Secondly,it analyzes the teaching environment and teaching objects of Confucius Institute of Yongsei University,which is to make detailed elaborations of course type,classroom environment,textbook,teaching progress arrangement,social identity of students,ages of students and learning ability of students.Thirdly,it makes teaching plan design for first class of foreign language based on contents of former three chapters,which includes design principle,overall design ideas and specific teaching process,in which the overall design ideas include design of class type,textbook,class hour,teaching objective,teaching focus and difficulty,teaching method and preparation before class etc.Finally,it makes summarization and reflection for this teaching design through above contents.
