Note-taking Of Simulation CI Report

Based on the Obamas' speeches,this report aims to study the simulated note-taking methods in consecutive interpreting.In this process,the author attempts to analyze how to effectively and rationally use note-taking methods in consecutive interpreting under the guidance of Gile's Effort Models,with a view to enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of consecutive interpreting.Note-taking is the foundation and important guarantee for high-quality consecutive interpreting.Through the summary of her own consecutive interpreting experiences and her study of existing literature,the author believes that problems in using note-taking methods include excessive reliance on notes,conflicts in notes and short-term memory allocation,unclear logical relations,psychological factors,fabricated symbols and messy layout.In order to solve these problems,the author comes up with three solutions.Firstly,one's personal note symbol system should be established.Secondly,tacit cooperation between hand and brain should be carried out.Thirdly,the logical structure of discourse should be emphasized.This report is divided into five chapters.Chapter One is the introduction which elaborates on the research background.Chapter Two is the preparation of the project in consecutive interpreting.Chapter Three is the Gile's Effort Models.Chapter Four is the case study,in which the author conducts a study of notes under the guidance of Gile's Effort Models.Chapter Five is the conclusion.
