A Report On Translation Of Brink's Unfortunate Escape From Hell

It is significant to use some translation tactics, such as onomatopoeia,reduplicated words, idioms and simple sentences in the translation. In the last part, the conclusion is made based on the experience of this translation. It also puts forward the existing problems for future endeavors.Skopos theory,which originated in the 1960s,is a branch of the functional translation theory and the basis of the general translation theory. It focuses on the translation purpose,makes up for the deficiency of traditional translation theory, and offers a new way for the development of translation theory. The particularity of children's literature determines that Skopos theory plays an important part in children's literature translation. In the process of children's literature translation,it is helpful for the quality and efficiency of the translation with the guidance of Skopos theory.
