"Chinese traditional music" is a compulsory course for music education students in colleges and universities.The use of traditional Chinese music teaching materials in teachers' colleges is directly related to the cultivation of students' ability,and the improvement of overall teaching quality.The development of music education in colleges and universities in China has not had a long history,and the music teaching materials in colleges and universities have not formed a coherent system.There is no unified syllabus and no curriculum standards.Therefore,according to the situation of each schools content and process,varies greatly.With the continuous development of music education in recent years,the various types of teaching materials used by colleges and universities have mushroomed,But literature review has yet to find a specific study of traditional Chinese music materials and related literature.Therefore the study of the value and the effect of traditional Chinese music materials is particularly important.According to the survey conducted,it is found that most of the traditional Chinese music courses in the ordinary colleges and universities are generally carried out in the form of appreciation courses.The main courses of the students are piano,vocal music,and composition.In addition to some of the school master's degree courses of traditional Chinese music,focus toward professional direction.In the higher normal colleges and universities for undergraduate students,very few offer traditional Chinese music professional development.At present,China's nine major professional arts institutions offer Chinese traditional music related courses,as other schools which have yet to set up this course,the nine major professional art schools will be used for sampling and analysis.The resources of China's traditional colleges and universities of traditional Chinese music are quite numerous.However due to musical,regional,and other reasons there is no comprehensive study of its.Therefore,this paper adopts the multidisciplinary theory of pedagogy and musicology as the research support,and makes an in-depth analysis from the teaching material and the use situation,then analyzes the traditional Chinese music used by the institutions of higher learning.The teaching materials put forward offer their own preliminary views.I hope that through the collection of materials from the nine major music schools,used by the Chinese traditional music teaching materials of the preliminary study,we will be able to prepare a new Chinese traditional music teaching materials.You may wish to see this as an opportunity to work with teaching staff,research scholars,as well those interested in music education and their counterparts to provide a research perspective,so that development of traditional Chinese music education may continue.
