Air pollution occurs when the pollutants or polluntant's secondary products have reached dangerous level in the Earth's atmosphere.With rapid growth in economy,the air pollution problems which behind the economy can not be ignored.The frequency of air pollution is also getting higher and higher in our major cities.Air pollution has become one of the most urgent environmental problems in china.In prior research(Rotton,1979),individuals produced more conflict behavior when they in the air pollution compared to uncontaminated environment.From birth to death,interpersonal relationships are important part of the human experience.However,interpersonal conflict may effect the relationship.The study explores the relationship between air pollution and international conflict behavior and how the air pollution impacted our social game behavior in the Chicken Game task.This study was composed of 2 behavioral experiment.:Experiment 1.Participants were 30 undergraduates(12 male,18 female),type of weather picture(air pollution picture vs.blue sky picture)constituted a within subject factor,gender(male vs.Female)constituted a between subject factor.After watching the pictures,participants completed the Chicken Game task with anonymous player(actually is computer).This experiment aim to explore the interpersonal conflict behavior effected by gender difference in personal perception of two different types of weather picture.Experiment 2.74 Participants(31 male,43 female)finished the experiment in real environment,type of weather(blue sky,overcast vs.air pollution)constituted a between subject factor.Participants completed the Chicken Game task with anonymous player(actually is computer)during in the type of weather.This experiment aim to explore sex and type of weather impact on behavior in social decision-making task.The results were as follows:1.Experiment 1,the results indicating that female selected more conflict after they viewed air pollution pictures than after they viewed blue sky pictures,however,the conflict percentage was not different in male.The results indicated that participants felt more positive emotion after they viewed blue sky pictures than after they viewed air pollution pictures;and participants felt more negative emotion after they viewed air pollution pictures than after they viewed blue sky pictures.Experiment 2,the results indicated that participants selected more conflict when they during in the air pollution than when they during in the blue sky and overcast weather.However,the emotion experience was not different in experiment 2.Conclusion:participants selected more conflict when they during in the air pollution environment.
