Interpreting Practice Of 2016 Hunan-africa International Industrial Cooperation Conference&Business Cross-border Networking Event

This practice report is based on the author’s interpreting practice in 2016 Hunan-Africa International Industrial Cooperation Conference&Business Cross-border Networking Event in June 2016.The main form of this event is one-to-one negotiations between Chinese enterprise and African Enterprise.This paper mainly explores the roles of interpreter in international business negotiation and studies the guiding function of interpreting practice through case analysis.This practice report divides into four parts.The first part gives a detailed introduction of the interpretation task,which includes task background and task description.The second part summarizes the whole process,including preparation before interpretation,the specific process and the problems encountered in the process as well as solutions to them;the third part is case analysis,mainly analyzing interpreter’s roles in international business negotiation:information disseminator,negotiation participant and culture disseminator with specific cases.The fourth part is the conclusion of this interpretation practice,concluding the unsolved problems and the enlightenment for future study.
