| The translation of automobile news can not only provide the latest news about cars for the targeted readers but also give some advice for the people who want to buy a new car.Under Skopos Theory,some translation methods are concluded in this report based on the three months of automobile news translation practice in Huanqiu Website.There are three major rules-skopos rule,coherence rule,and fidelity rule under Skopos Theory put forward by German functionalists.The skopos rule is at the core deeming that translators should,based on communicative goals,take some specific translation methods.Under Skopos Theory,translators are more flexible when translating some texts and they are also more flexible in trans-editing the automobile news.That's why Skopos Theory can find its application in the automobile news translation in Huanqiu website.This report consists of four parts.The first part is the description of the translation works focusing on the background and features of the translation task.The second part is the description of translation process including three parts-the preparation,the process and the proofreading of translation.As the key part of this report,the third part is the case analysis from three perspectives-the headline,the lead instruction and the body.The last part is the conclusion of this report including the applicability of some translation methods introduced in this report as well as some shortages of this report. |
