This is a translation project report on Chapter 20 of E-Learning-Instructional Design,Organizational Strategy and Management by Boyka Gradinarova,of which Chapter 20 Improving E-Learning in SMEs through Cloud Computing and Scenarios is the source text.The author of the source text is Ileana Hamburg.The source text mainly introduces that small and medium sized enterprises use learning methods like E-Learning to survive in fierce competition and Cloud Computing,cloud architectures,and Scenario-based tech,such new technologies,are applied in E-Learning.The source text also presents some project examples about new technology application.The main content of this translation project consists of four parts.Part One is introduction to the translation project report,including project background,significance,and structure of the report.Part Two is about publishing facts,main content,and analysis of the source text.Part Three presents theoretical basis of the report,namely,the Functional Equivalence Theory,and discusses the translation difficulties,like terminology,specific words,long and complicated sentences.To solve above problems,the adopted methods are mainly conversion,amplification,and division and other techniques based on the Functional Equivalence Theory.Part Four concludes lessons learned from the translation project and problems left to be dealt with.
