The Diachronic Study Of The Charactors In The Translation Of Manchu Toponyms In Northeast China

The study on Manchu toponymy started from Qing Dynasty,but completed in 1980 s.The outcomes of the research can be divided into three parts:in geography,in linguistic,and in Chinese character.Most researchers focus on formal studys,but neglect the last one.Through the analysis of the original way of Manchu toponymy,we know that Manchu toponymy can reflect the original appearance of the Manchu nationality life,and they directly based on the semantic function of life,they can play alert cues.Compared with the Manchu toponymy before and after evolution,it can be seen that the evolution of Manchu toponymy is based on Chinese toponymys,they gradually moving closer to Chinese toponymys.This paper analyzed Chinese characters of Manchu toponymys,and summarizes the diachronic evolution of Manchu toponymys,after that,we can find out that the simplified evolution of Manchu toponymys and the refined custom evolution in meaning.Further screening and classification of toponymys,and using modern statistical software to analyze,we can see that the use of Manchu toponymys mainly change in two directions,to ensure and elegance.The evolution of Manchu toponymys has regularity,which is from transliteration to paraphrase.Through the analysis of the evolution of the law,we can further propose the form of translation and how to choose the advice Chinese characters,in order to standardize foreign and minority toponymy.
