Career development and career plans in adolescence are related to both mental and physical health and can have a long-come outcomes.Career maturity is the degree to which individual is ready for dealing with development tasks in their ages.Career maturity is a professional psychological development of evaluation criteria,therefor, research of career maturity can help the us understand the level of the career development of adolescent students.Then the targeted career education strategy to improve the career development of youth.This study is consist of four part.The first part is about why I choose this theme to research through the literature review. The second part, based on the results of questionnaire surveys, we overall the status of students’ career maturity and deficiencies.At the third part, we discus the reason of the status of students’ career maturity.At last, we design targeted career intervention program, which provide an empirical basis and teaching reference for middle school career education。Results:(1) The average number of middle school students’career maturity is 3.769。(2) The difference between boy and girl is not significant in middle school students’ career maturity.(3) Their career maturity is significantly different among students from different grade.(4) There are significant differences between students’ who has career model and who have no career model.(5) Compared with their counterparts, participants who reported that they had been inspired by others to do their current job tended to score higher on career maturity.(6) Both mother involvement and father involvement were positively related to career maturity.
