People's material living conditions have been greatly improved,"double eleven","Shopping Festival" and other consumer boom continue to emerge,along with these phenomena Western materialism values are slowly beginning to affect China.With the accelerated pace of reform,the tide of economic globalization under the materialistic values continue to challenge people's values.In the campus life can see young people there is a very serious comparisons atmosphere,materialistic values already on our young people had a serious impact.Economic growth has also caused social problems such as the widening gap between the rich and the poor,and the increasingly serious social stratification.In recent years,domestic and foreign research on materialism values and family social class is not a lot of research,among them high school students as the object of study less.Most of the researches on materialistic values mainly focus on the study of the causes and effects of materialistic values,while the study of family social class mainly focuses on college students,and the research contents are mainly influenced by influencing factors and influencing modes.In order to provide evidence for the impact of family and social stratum on materialistic values in the context of Western culture,this study used questionnaire survey and literature reading method,combined with foreign research status,as well as Chinese cultural background and social reality.The influence of social class angle on materialistic values.On this basis,further explore the role of self-esteem in the relationship between the two.In the whole study,we chose 248 high school students from a middle school in the west of Zhejiang province as the subjects,using the questionnaire survey method,using the "high school materialism values scale","Rosenberg self-esteem scale","subjective family Social class measurement"," objective family social class measurement "as a measurement questionnaire,the whole process of research using spss19.0 data analysis.After the data analysis and analysis we get the following results:1,the scale used in this study,including young materialism scale,Rosenberg self-esteem scale,including good reliability and validity;2,different family social class high school students The materialistic values of the high school students born in the lower social strata of the family and society are significantly higher than those of the high school students born in the higher social strata of the family and society;3,the materialistic values of the high school students of different families and social strata are different;The self-esteem of the high school students is higher than that of the higher social strata of the family and society;4,the family social stratum of the senior high school students has significant significance to their materialistic values.5,self-esteem plays a significant mediating role in family social stratum and materialistic values,in which self-esteem plays a significant mediating role in the measurement of subjective social stratum,objective family social stratum and materialistic values.This study attempts to explore the impact of family social class and self-esteem on the materialism values of high school students in China,so as to promote the localization of the study.At the same time,this study can lead us from the family social class,the relationship between self-esteem and materialistic values for the teaching of high school values to provide effective teaching strategies and recommendations.This paper puts forward some countermeasures from government,social,school and family.Through the efforts of all the parties,it can promote the educational development of the materialism values of senior high school students,make the high school students form the correct values and cultivate the healthy personality of middle school students.
