I was interned at the Confucius Institute at the Catholic University of Peru from June 2015 to June 2016.I was responsible for the teaching and cultural promotion of the Confucius Institute.Through the interview of the relevant person in charge,the author collected lots of first-hand information and combed the historical development in teachers,curriculum,teaching,materials,teaching resources,examinations,cultural promotion and other aspects based on the data.And analyzes the current situation of teachers,curriculum,teaching materials,teaching resources,examinations,cultural popularization and learners of Confucius Institute depend on the questionaires.Finally summarizes the the existing problems in historical development of Confucius Institute and give rationalization proposals.Wish to provide a reference for sustainable development of Confucius Institute and give references for both Hanban and other Confucius Institute.The article is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,introduces the research background,the research content,the research mentality and the method as well as the research purpose and the significance.The second part takes the time as the main line,study the historical data deeply and analysis the Chinese teaching(including curriculum,teachers,textbooks,Chinese examinations)and cultural promotion since its inception.The third part conducts a questionnaire survey to teachers and students from the Confucius Institute.Analysis the Chinese teaching(including curriculum,teachers,textbooks,Chinese examinations,and learners)and cultural promotion horizontally.The fourth part is based on the analysis of the up two parts,revealing the prob lem mainly in the teacher,Chinese curriculum and teaching resources and other aspects during the development process of the Confucius in the past years.Try to make recommendations on these issues,hope Confucius Institute can solve these problems and Improve the quality of Chinese teaching and promote the sustainable development of Confucius Institute.
