During my time as a Chinese teacher volunteer at the Confucius Institute at the Catholic University of Peru,the author found that there are some problems in the cultural communication of the Confucius Institute.Through the questionnaire,I conducted a comprehensive analysis of the current status of cultural communication at the Confucius Institute at the Catholic University of Peru.The Confucius Institute put forward corresponding suggestions on cultural communication.The full text first clarifies the purpose and significance of the research.Then,by searching the literature,the literature is combed from the four aspects of "culture","dissemination","the spread of Chinese culture",and the relationship between China and Peru.In the research,there is a lack of specific analysis of the current situation of Chinese cultural transmission in the Confucius Institute in Peru.Later,after analyzing the current status of the Confucius Institute's operations,the author analyzed the current status of the cultural dissemination of the Confucius Institute from the content of the communication,the media,the audience,and the effects of the communication.Corresponding suggestions were made in terms of content and effect.The survey results show that the current status of Confucius Institute's cultural communication is lack of innovation,lack of attention,lack of depth and breadth in the content;in the media,there is no in-depth exploration of existing publicity channels,and insufficient attention to new media;in In terms of communication audiences,no courses or activities were conducted according to their needs;in terms of communication effects,the overall awareness,love,and exposure to Chinese cultural materials,behaviors,spiritual cultures are positive,but it is difficult to understand in individual cases.Behaviour and culturally incompatible elements,such as face,and cultural factors,still exist.Finally,based on the above research results,the author puts forward the following suggestions:1.Broaden the admissions channels and establish a practical base for Confucius Institute students to exercise;attach importance to the selection of outstanding teachers and pre-post training for new teachers;provide conditions for teacher self-improvement and expand the local teacher force;identify the needs of the audience through surveys and provide appropriate courses.2.Encourage teachers to practice their personal talents;deepen business cooperation with local mainstream media;attach importance to the role of print media and strengthen the construction of the Confucius Institute library;attach importance to interpersonal communication and cultivate Confucius opinion leaders.3.Disseminate the cultural content of advancing with the times to students in classroom teaching;increase the publicity of cultural lessons,expand the channels of publicity,and integrate the secrets of the classroom content;enhance the depth and breadth of cultural activities,and create a "Confucius Institute Spring Festival Gala" Cultural brand.4.Establish an evaluation mechanism for communication effects,and use the evaluation results as an important assessment standard for teachers when they step down.Establish an opinion feedback mechanism to discuss and reflect collectively after the event,summarize experiences,and feed the above evaluation results to the next cultural event,to enhance the effectiveness of communication.
